I was lucky enough to be featured on 100 Layer Cake today for photographing Sarah Sherman Samuel’s 30th Birthday at Casa Verona in Palm Springs. For her thirtieth B-Day she decided she wanted to throw an Alice and Wonderland party with a modern twist. Sarah is an amazing designer and founder of Smitten Studio, and designed and created every detail of the party including the matching table fabrics and wall art. I just had a great lifestyle shoot with Koko Allen who recently started her own company luv RATCHET, selling her hand made jewelry and hand bags.

Photographed a home for BETTER SHELTER in Silverlake a few weeks ago, and they really did an incredible job. They are a boutique real estate development company who provide affordable housing using sustainable construction methods, and a design aesthetic rooted in southern California modernism. Steve Jones runs the Los Angeles branch, and is always a pleasure to work with. Check out their work here.
